I was playing Grand Theft Auto V on my PlayStation 4 console a year ago and something happened suddenly. The incident that I went through is that I got logged out of my PlayStation Network account and tried to login to my account, but I couldn’t get back in. It showed me an error message saying that my PSN account has been banned with the error code WS-37368-7.
What had happened?
Few days before this incident, PSN had sent me an email stating that my email associated with the network has been changed. But, I was not the one to do it. I contacted Sony and they told me that this is a common issue. They helped me to change my PSN account password. Few days later, I tried logging into my account. But, it showed me a text that said I needed to verify my account using my email. Few moments later, I received an email from the network and it was showing the verification process.
I got inside my account and after an hour, the above issue appeared. I got logged out of my account and it stated that my PSN account has been banned. Then, I contacted the customer support team and they said that one of their specialists is checking about my account ban and would email be within a couple of days stating whether my account was permanently banned or not. I read their Terms of Service as well and I am sure I hadn’t violated any of the policies. I thought my account was gone due to getting breached and later fixing the breach and finally getting banned.
